How do advertisements know where I live?

Am I unknowingly someone of great importance, and someone is stalking me? Is it a crazed fan that only really wants me to autograph a tool of theirs? How do they know where I live?

They know where you live by IP tracking. It is a simple code they put in their website that transforms your IP address into your city or country. They do not know your actual home address simply from your IP code so not to worry. If you want to learn these things I’d say sign up with a company that uses it and ask them all about it. If it’s an honest company they will not hold back information but will help you succeed.
