hollywood party theme?

I finally chose my theme it is hollywood
i need help tho with ideas for my
hollywood party theme

Hi,

I had this theme for my 15th last June. It was so much fun!
You could have it fancy dress as a fave movie related celebrity or just formal wear like I had it.
Food:
My party guests ate somewhere else first :S, so I just made biscuits and cakes. They were related to hollywood. I made clapperboards, oscar statues, film reels and popcorn shaped biscuits and drew clapperboards on with black and white icing on the cakes. They looked good! Sorry I dnt have a pic of these .
Birthday Cake:
Here is a link to my birthday cake. The figurine on the top is me and the stars have my fave celebrities on them to symbolize the walk of fame. There is a red carpet, and all the way round the cake are film reels, clapperboards, microphones, popcorn boxes and more. Activities:
The only activity I did was the oscar’s awards. This went fantastically! Everyone enjoyed themselves! I made ballot forms and a ballot box for them to go in. Everyone voted for who they wanted to win each catagory and then put it in the box, for my parents to tally up the winners! The catagories were: Best dressed male, best dressed female, most likely to trip up on the red carpet, most likely to blush on the red carpet, most likely to talk for hours whilst being interviewed, best dancer, best singer, best actor/actress, person who is most likely to bring sunshine on a rainy day, best comedian, best hair and most outrageous! Each winner got a plastic oscar’s awards which you can buy from the internet and a box of chocolates in gold wrapping.
You could also do a movie trivia quiz or that game where everyone has a sticky note on their head with a celebrity on and they must guess who they are and the first 5 to guess right win!

Decorations:
I made a huge clapperboard out of wood. I used black chalkboard paint so that I could use chalk to draw on the detail. I stood it outside of my party and it said along the lines – Filming: Elysia’s 15th Birthday, Cast: All of her friends and then all of the other details like filming studio etc all said 15! It looked good:D I bought the hollywood banners from the internet too which read things like : “And the winner is….”, “Hollywood Boulevard”, etc. I also had Marilyn Monroe scene setters. They looked cool! I went down to my local cinema, who were more than happy to lend me lots of movie posters for free and the huge movie standees that they use for advertising. I got the Pirates of the Caribbean ones last year with Johnny Depp and Keira Knightley. So I would definitely ask them. Also some of the shops that sell movies have them too. W.H.Smith lent me the Night at the Museum one too.
